In 1984, I was a young mother of two when I realized I needed more flexibility in my profession to meet the needs of my daughters. I knew I wanted to work with older adults, so I started by providing housekeeping. Once I completed my C.N.A. Certification, I began escorting my clients to the doctor, assisting them with personal care, and acting as an advocate on their behalf.
Soon, I found myself with more clients than time, and I knew it was time to recruit quality caregivers who shared my vision.
I am very proud to say that the first caregiver I hired is still with us today. As word continued to spread, we began attracting the attention of healthcare professionals in the area. Wanting their clients to be treated with this same personal touch, they began referring clients to me, looking to me as a person they could count on day or night to assist their clients in need of personal care.
Today, Care from the Heart is a thriving business that still builds it’s foundation on the same beliefs and ideals I began more than 35 years ago. The personal touch I provided for my first clients is still evident today in the approach we take with each and every one of our clients. Anyone can provide care, but only the best provide Care from the Heart.
